According to Ballotpedia, (yeah we didn't know that was a thing until we just googled Martin right now), Martin Baker was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Missouri. He was also a candidate in the 2012 Republican primary but was defeated by Robyn Hamlin.[1] He was defeated by Daniel Elder in the Republican primary on August 5, 2014.[2]
